Sept 8 Safe Hands Flyer

Safe Hands Training

September 8, 2026
The Caregiver Incentive Project is excited to offer another Safe Hands Training, and we would appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with community members, caregivers, and anyone who may benefit from attending.
 
When: September 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
 
Location: Negaunee Senior Center: 410 Jackson Street Negaunee, MI 49866
 
Safe Hands Training provides caregivers with practical skills and techniques to help keep both themselves and those they care for safe during daily activities and transfers. Participants will gain valuable hands-on knowledge that can be used immediately in caregiving settings.
 
If possible, please share the attached flyer through your organization, social media channels, newsletter, or community network.
 
Thank you for helping us connect caregivers with education, resources, and support that can make a meaningful difference in their caregiving journey.

Free Caregiver Training

July 16th

Who: Caregivers of all backgrounds

What is it: The Caregiver Incentive Project will host a free Safe Hands Advantage Caregiver Training at Rainbow’s End Alpaca Farm in Norway, Michigan. Attendees will learn caregiver self-care strategies, effective communication techniques, safe transfer skills, and earn a Heartsaver CPR Certification. Participants will also enjoy networking opportunities over a light dinner and receive a complimentary gait belt to support safer caregiving.

This training is open to caregivers of all backgrounds, and space is limited to 30 participants. We would be grateful if you could share the attached flyer with your staff, clients, caregivers, volunteers, and community contacts who may benefit from this opportunity.
 
Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected caregiver network across the U.P. Thank you for your partnership and for helping us support those who care for others every day.
