What is CIP’s Caregiver Academy?

Caregiver Academy is designed to train
you in the basic skills needed to be a great in-home caregiver!

The CIP’s mission is to improve the lives of those who need care by supporting caregivers, and Caregiver Academy is just one way that we fulfill this mission.

we have an academy coming up this weekend April 27th and 28th and the first 10 people to sign up will receive $100. Students will be trained in CPR, Hands on Personal Care, Mental Health for Caregivers, Transfer Techniques, and many other topics. Caregiver Academy is open to anyone who…

Is currently employed as a caregiver

Wants to become a part-time or full-time caregiver

Is informally caring for a loved one at home

Would like to learn about caregiving for personal reasons

Wants practical tips on giving quality care

You can help make Caregiver Academy a success!

If you’ve been a caregiver, have been cared for, or simply want to volunteer for a good cause, we welcome you to Caregiver Academy.

Come share your lived experiences or lend a helping hand.
